At the Bill Bryson Library, there are PCs available for use on all floors. Laptops are also available from the self-service laptop safe on Level 2 and you can borrow these using your campus card.

You cannot, however, use the library laptops outside of the Library building.

To support access to education, the University has created a 'Loan Laptops for Learning' scheme starting for the 2020/21 academic year. This scheme is running as a pilot and will be evaluated ahead of the 2021/22 session. You may be eligible for a loan machine if you do not have individual access to a computer that meets the suggested specification of the University and if your household income is within the assessment criteria in the academic year you apply for the loan machine.
